Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber (peeled if not organic)
  • Juice of 1 whole lemon
  • 1 small piece fresh ginger (about 2–3 cm), peeled
  • 1/2 cup cold water (for blender method)
  • Optional: a few fresh mint leaves
  • Optional: pinch of sea salt (especially post-workout)


Instructions

Juicer method:

  1. Juice cucumber and ginger.
  2. Stir in lemon juice.
  3. Serve chilled or over ice.

Blender method:

  1. Chop cucumber and ginger, add to blender with lemon juice and water.
  2. Blend on high until smooth.
  3. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or nut milk bag.
  4. Serve immediately.
