Health Benefits

1. Metabolic and liver support

Grapefruit is rich in naringenin, a flavonoid that may improve insulin sensitivity and lipid metabolism, and support liver detoxification pathways.

2. Immune and skin defense

High vitamin C content helps support immune cells, enhance skin repair through collagen production, and protect against oxidative stress.

3. Antioxidant and cardiovascular protection

Grapefruit juice contains lycopene (in pink/red varieties) and potassium, both of which support blood pressure regulation and vascular health.

Tips for Best Results

  • Choose ripe pink grapefruit for a sweeter, less bitter flavor and higher lycopene content.
  • Drink on an empty stomach in the morning for optimal absorption of antioxidants.
  • Avoid refined sweeteners; use a bit of raw honey or blend with orange juice if needed.
  • Caution: Grapefruit can interact with certain medications (statins, calcium channel blockers). Consult your doctor if you’re on prescriptions.
  • Keep cold and fresh—vitamin C is heat- and oxygen-sensitive.
