Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of fresh kale (about 6 cups, torn and stems removed)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Zest of 1 organic lemon


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Wash and dry kale thoroughly (use a salad spinner or pat dry with a clean towel).
  3. Tear kale leaves into bite-sized pieces and place in a large bowl.
  4. Massage olive oil and salt into the kale for about 1 minute, making sure all pieces are coated.
  5. Spread kale evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, checking after 15 minutes to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with lemon zest while still warm, and let cool completely before serving.
